Kvitsøy - Vacation Apartment (Apartment E)
(NB: No pets are allowed)

Description of the cabin:

• The apartment is part of a vacation resort, Kvitsøy Maritime Senter A/S who lease 18 modern apartments, each measuring approximately 42m2. The resort is built in "boat-house" style (sjøhusstil), with an adjoining pier for mooring of boats, sunbathing, and grilling. The apartment is located on the second floor. Kvitsøy is a municipality of 500 residents. There's a public ferry between Kvitsøy and Mekjarvik - a 50 minute ride. The nearest grocery store and gas station are located at Ydstebøhavn.
• The apartment is located right by the ferry landing, so the car can easily be left at Mekjarvik where there is ample parking. Kvitsøy archipelago consists of 365 islets and skerries. Bird and fish life are plentiful. There is year-round fishing. It is a short distance from Stavanger and is the perfect setting for boating and fishing, the area is ideal for week-end jaunts as well as longer vacations.
• The apartment comes with a boat (new in Spring '98).
• Accommodation for 6 people.

Contents of the cabin:

• Kitchen with a two-burner stove and refrigerator, a microwave oven with crisp function; utensils.
• Place settings for 8 people.
• Bathroom
• 2 bedrooms and a "hems" (loft)
• TV and radio

Equipment to bring along:

• Bed linen (sheets, pillowcases and cover for comforters)
• Kitchen towels and towels
• Soaps for cleaning, washing up etc.
• Candles
• Coal and fuses for barbecue
• Toilet paper

When you leave the cabin:

• Clean the cabin thoroughly
• Turn all the ovens down to the lowest setting, lock the cabin and check that all windows are closed.
• Bring all garbage with you, nothing is to be left in the cabin.
• Moor the boat.
• Fill in the rental form thoroughly.
• Remember that the next Esso-family who arrives after you will find the cabin in the condition in which you have left it.
